Solar Panels

A solar panel is essentially an assembly of solar cells, known as photovoltaic cells, that harness sunlight to generate electricity. These cells are arranged in a grid-like pattern on the surface of the solar panel. As a result, it can also be defined as a collection of photovoltaic modules, contained within a supportive structure. A photovoltaic (PV) module is a cohesive and interconnected unit comprising solar cells. Solar panels exhibit minimal wear over time, with an annual performance decrease of approximately 2 percent, sometimes even less.

The majority of solar panels are manufactured using crystalline solar cells. However, Loom Solar panels employ Mono-PERC solar cells, which represent the latest advancement in commercially available solar cell technology. The installation of solar panels in homes plays a crucial role in mitigating the emission of harmful greenhouse gases, thereby contributing to the reduction of global warming. Solar panels are environmentally clean and do not produce any form of pollution. Additionally, they diminish our dependence on finite and conventional energy sources.
